We are a dog and cat grooming service. We were established in 1997. I have been grooming since 1993 with years of experience help and handy tips on grooming.
We are only a call or text away and always glad to help where we can. We do a full service from a wet bath with a conditioning treatment, we clip nails, check clean and remove hair from ears and any style of grooming and trimming your pet may need. We also do show trimming and hand stripping as well.

New Customers
On Arrival
When you first arrive at the salon you will notice that there is customer parking right outside of the building. When you approach the door there will be a doorbell for you to ring to notify us that you are outside so that somebody can come and welcome you in. Please be aware that both cars and pedestrians use the drive on a regular basis. Furthermore, because we are in a residential area, please be aware of your car noises and keep all pets under control at all times.
On your first visit, we ask that you give us the information to fill out a Grooming Record Card (in the picture below)
This is so that we can go through things such as your name, address, pets name, gender, breed, phone number, what vets you are currently at, if your animal has any health problems etc. This is vital information for us to keep on record so that we can do the best for your pet and in order to contact yourselves once your pet has finished their groom.
There is also a disclaimer to sign at the bottom of the card what states:
I confirm that my pet is fit, healthy and fully vaccinated. I agree that the groomer will not be held liable or responsible for irritation abrasion, patchiness or hair loss due to any pre-existing skin condition, or as a result of the grooming process, de-matting, thinning, stripping, or shaving, or any mishap caused by my non-disclosure of my pet's medical condition or behaviour. If my pet bites or attempts to bite any person or pet, a muzzle may be used, or at discretion of the groomer, treatment may stop & I will pay for all work done to that point & will pay the full cost of all damages & expense my pet has caused. If I fail to collect my pet at the agreed time I will pay all extra cost due. If my pet harbours any parasites I will clear them at my expense. If my pet's health causes concern, I will obtain veterinary treatment at my expense. I confirm that all facts that I supplied above are true. I agree to pay any charges due for appointments cancelled without adequate notice. I understand the groomer may not be able to achieve my desired look or may have to trim the pet short due to matting. I agree to pay any extra de-matting charges as a result of matting. I accept & consent entirely to all of the terms and conditions shown.
Additional charges will occur if your pet has any parasites. Should we notice any parasites on your animal we will contact you in order to take further action.

Hand Stripping
Hand Stripping is a grooming process that can be done to many dogs with the right type of coat however it does have some apposed risks that are stated in this disclaimer. We have put together this leaflet for you to read after your dog has been groomed here at Pampered Poochies. Within this leaflet, it states what your dog has undergone while being groomed, some of these processes can affect some dogs so it is important that we make you aware of this.
Cat and V.I.P Room customers
Cat grooming customers and Dogs that require extra support due to health issues using the V.I.P room
Due to the nature of these types of appointments, we may ask for you to send us an upfront deposit in order to reserve your booking. This is because they are one on one appointments and are very limited because of time and demand of these spaces. The deposit can be transferred online, we will send you a link in order to make the payment.
Currently, due to demand, we are booking into a couple of weeks in advance so please bear this in mind when contacting us to make an appointment.
